Scotty McKenzie, AScT, DIPL.T
Principal & Senior Project Manager

Scotty is an extremely versatile project manager with 17 years of experience and a proven reputation for delivering on a wide variety of complex projects. During his career with the Ministry of Transportation, Scotty contributed to over $1.1B in projects, leading over 50 of them as the PM. His assignments included everything from standard (planning, paving, bridge, grading, etc.) assignments to slide mitigation, rest areas, roundabouts and even major negotiations with Indigenous Communities and Municipalities. No project is too small, too large or too complex for Scotty to handle.

Dustin Walsh, B.Sc
Project Manager

Dustin is a Project Manager, and joined MAPS in 2023. He brings 14 years of project management experience, 3 of which came from the transportation and road maintenance sector working for Dawson Road Maintenance (DRM) as a Project Manager. Dustin’s background in the construction industry, coupled with his education in the Biological Sciences, give him a very diverse skillset and knowledge base. Dustin is always eager to tackle new and exciting opportunities, no matter how simple or complex, as he continues to develop his project management skills and experience.
Chris Laramee
Project Manager

Chris joined MAPS in 2025 and is a proven leader, detail-oriented professional and seasoned project manager with more than 11 years of progressive professional experience managing civil infrastructure projects from bid to build in various locations of British Columbia. Projects in his portfolio have included land development, bulk earthworks, municipal underground utilities, road improvements, airport expansions and BC MoTT bridge projects. Chris is an ambitious project manager always looking for opportunities to expand his knowledge and experience in the civil engineering industry.

Kyle Varley, BBA
Assistant Project Manager

Kyle joined MAPS in 2023 and is an extremely hard-working individual willing to take on any challenge. Kyle was involved in several highly complex projects within the Ministry’s Trans-Canada Highway program, where he contributed to over $300M in projects. Kyle has since provided project management support on several other large scale and complex projects such as the Highway 99 Ten Mile Slide and the Highway 97 Taylor Bridge North Slope Stabilization project, while also delivering a number of his own resurfacing projects. Kyle has valuable experience in stakeholder engagement, indigenous consultation, design negotiations and has worked under numerous reputable project managers. Kyle’s work ethic and desire to learn are unparalleled and are a significant asset to any project team.
Jennifer Beson
Project Coordinator

Jennifer joined MAPS as a Project Coordinator in 2025. Having worked over 5 years previously as a project coordinator in the road maintenance industry, she is eager to utilize her experience to provide support and contribute to the successful delivery of a wide range of projects. Jennifer has already made an impact at MAPS assisting with various operational and project assignments. She looks forward to taking on new challenges and continuing to strengthen her knowledge in the industry.
